Our Chairman Dr.S.Thangavelu has a unique distinction of being a successful entrepreneur, a charitable philanthropist, a prolific researcher and a passionate educator. He was a Professor in the Agricultural Engineering department of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University for over 28 years. Also, he has successfully established two automobile dealership firms namely DheepSeela Motors and DheepaLaxmi Motors. And, he is presently leading both Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology and Sri Shakthi International School with the mission of powering the youth to empower the nation. He is also credited with the “Best Engineers Award” by the Institute of Engineers.

Our Vice Chairman, Er.Dheepan Thangavelu, is a dynamic second generation entrepreneur. After his under graduation from the College of Engineering Guindy – Anna University, he began his career at Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology as the Head for Industry Relations and Linkages. After creating a strong reputation for the college in student Job Placements, in 2014, he ventured out to complete his MBA from the prestigious Babson College in Boston, U.S.A. He worked for Education Pioneers in Nashville, Tennessee as a strategy intern and for EduHub in Medellin, Colombia as a marketing intern. Then, he taught Economics at the African Leadership University in Mauritius for an year before returning to takeover as the Vice Chairman for Sri Shakthi Group of Institutions. He is extremely passionate about Education, Economics and Sports.
